The Morinville Fish and Game Association is great for all ages and involves everyone to learn about hunting, fishing, operating boats and all-terrain vehicles, use of guns and good fellowship.
Become a Member Learn MoreAt Morinville Fish & Game Association (MFGA) we recently upgraded our clubhouse in 2016, which is used for MFGA meetings, and other events that are great for all ages. The MFGA also works with community members and non-profit groups who want to use the space for special events. We are very good for all ages and involve different ages to learn about hunting, fishing, operating boats and all-terrain vehicles, use of guns and good fellowship.
Along with other Fish and Game clubs associated with Zone 4 & 5, our club is helping with the operations of the Narrow Lake Conservation Camp. This camp provides opportunities for many youth that might not have the chance otherwise to experience the outdoor adventure in a safe atmosphere. One of the big things we at MFGA looks to do are a lot for the youth in the area, and getting involved in programs around fish and game. We have had guest speakers in to talk about fly fishing, bears and other topics of interest to those who like the outdoors. Additionally, MFGA supports many organizations such as the Santa Store, Morinville Festival Society, Legion Remembrance Wreath, Sturgeon Victim Services and ALS.
The new clubhouse will be used for local meetings and events and will bring benefit to many youth and community groups in Morinville. Surrounded by a nearly-one-kilometer trail loop and a fishing pond created from a spring-fed borrow pit, the club house sits surrounded by wildlife and natural habitats.
The Clubhouse can be booked if you meet the user criteria, through Jack Reader at jjreader@telus.net.
In addition to the events listed above, you can visit our Facebook Page for dates and more information.
